Finanicial Aid Probation

So apparently I have been put on financial aid probation for having too many hours for my assoc. degree. Well I explained that I went ahead to take some classes for my B.S. degree because I only needed one more class to finish my assoc. last semester. They told me I had to do a change of major so I could even get into the program. I am now debating on whether it is even worth my time anymore. I am going to weigh my options and see what other colleges around here, where I can get the same degree.

HD-DVD vs BluRay

This is one battle that has really pissed me off to no end! Why? Because i don’t car about either one!

I don’t own an HDTV, and i probably won’t anytime in the near future, so the technology is basically useless to me. Besides, I really don’t see a point in upgrading from regular old DVDs. It really isn’t a new media like when DVDs took over the VHS world. Personally I think it is all just a big plot to make me spend more money.

I guess I don’t see a huge difference other than price. i am perfectly content purchasing a regular DVD and saving $10. What is the point of making them cost so much more anyways? Isn’t the whole point of new technology to make them more efficient, better quality, and cheaper to produce?

Yet again, somebody is just out to get me!

Early Classes

I know some of you out there are in college like I am. Most people who know me, know that I am not a morning person. So, I try really hard to avoid taking morning classes. But there are those classes that only a few people need to take and they give us the really early times. I will be so happy when I never have to take a morning class again. I guess it wouldn’t be so bad if all of my classes were like that and I could get into some sort of routine. But I am pretty much set on the ones I have to take and can never get my schedule the way that I really want it. (That is not me in the picture by the way. There really is no solution to this problem right now, well that I can see anyway. I believe that I have tried everything in my power to change my schedule around before the semester begins. Maybe I am just getting tired of school period. I am tired and stressed out most of the time, when I am at school. So I guess I am really just ready to be done.

New MMO Games

When I first started playing MMO games I loved all of them, for the most part. Nowadays, most of the games are really stupid. I didn’t realize just how stupid until recently. A huge amount of these games are anime or fantasy based. I play a few fantasy games but they have to have really awesome graphics and awesome gamplay before I even give them a chance. I have been playing Cabal Online for awhile now and the PVP is awesome but I can’t get over how utterly retarded the quests are sometimes. I guess the game was designed around people wanting to play a story based game. But most of the time the story aspect of this game is stupid too. But I love the graphics and the monsters I get to kill so I will not give this one up anytime soon.

Moms Interfering

Okay so I got engaged to the best man ever last July. Now the night that we got engaged, my mom decides to start adding us to registries on 4 different sites. Then we go wedding dress shopping the next day followed by a million other stops. I love my mom to death but she is driving me and my fiance crazy. I have found that she has slowed down a lot since the wedding is less than 2 months away but still. I am one that does not care about details. I have my man and my dress, im good. My mom on the other hand wants to know if I like the flower girl dress that she bought without letting me see it first and then gives it to my flower girl. Now the dress is pretty but come on lets look around some more hehe. Well i better get off here before I keep talking for another 2 hours hehe

Everything free sucks!

I know that everything that is free sucks, this explains a lot of why people don’t take my advice on things. I’ve been around this world and seen a lot of things so I have this world knowledge and a number of people ask me for advice on some things. After the advice is given then those people turn around and don’t do what I gave them advice to do. Does this go back to the notion that everything that you get for free is not worth your time? and You get what you pay for. So should I start charging people when they ask me for advice. I think I should and every time someone asks me to hook up some kind of electronic thing or ask me what to do about their computer, I am going to charge them for my time. I wouldn’t do that to my family of course but they are usually the ones that want me to do those things the most. Its funny they are really the only ones that actually listen to what I say, for the most part. But my friends and acquaintances from work usually just blow me off when they ask for advice and I give it to them. So, I guess what I really want to know is: Can you get things for free? or Do you get what you pay for? I know I probably won’t get too much feedback on this one, as it is a touchy subject with some people. So, I guess that is all I have to say on the subject unless some wants to argue

Spiders

Man I hate spiders, those creepy things. Actually I hate bugs too. I am not afraid of either one of them but I just think they are really annoying. I especially hate the bugs that fly into my ear. Those are the worst. I also hate the spiders that jump. I didn’t even know that spiders could jump until a few years ago when I went camping and a damn spider jumped on me. I was going to take a picture of it but the damn thing jumped on me before I could get a shot. It scared the shit out of me. As I said before I am not afraid of the actual spider I guess it just surprised me when it jumped. They are really creepy looking which is cool, all of those legs and eyes and most of them are fuzzy too. I just don’t like them jumping on me I guess. I have never had one as a pet or anything so I don’t know how they are when they are tame. I would think they would be a lot better but I really have no idea.

Documentaries on the big screen

How is it that a stupid, boring documentary makes it to the theaters. I know it has to be some sort of financial backing that does it. I know Ben Stein (star of Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed) has a great deal of money and he probably had a lot to do with his documentary making it. I am surely glad it was not a wide release because they most likely lost a huge amount of money as it is.

I am not dogging Stein’s movie because I don’t believe what he is saying (even though I don’t). I just don’t see the point in trying to make a documentary wide spread for theaters. It really makes no sense to me. They would probably make a lot more money throwing some money into advertising and then just release it on DVD.

Bitching about people driving again

I don’t know what it is but I can’t seem to get away from stupid ass drivers. I am really getting tired of people trying to kill me with their cars. It is getting to the point where I am going to have to drive a tank everywhere I go. And believe me there are tanks out there that you can buy. They are quite expensive but if you really want one you can get one. I guess I really don’t need a tank, maybe just an armored transport. Yeah, that way I could get into the money transporting business as well. And if someone ever pulls out in front of me I could just run them over.

I think I may just start driving extremely slow so everyone has to pass me. Maybe then people won’t pull out in front of me and hey maybe I can save a little money on gas that way too!

My car is a cutoff magnet

Just this morning, I was driving home and I got cutoff at least 5 times. People pull out in front of me and cut me off all of the time. I know I am not the only one this happens to but I live in a not so populated area and I have to slam on my breaks at least 10 times a day because of these stupid drivers we have today. Where did they learn to drive? I know I am not the perfect driver but I don’t pull out in front of people and make them slam on their brakes. Just last week I almost was run over by a huge truck because someone pulled out in front of me and I slammed on my breaks. He had to swerve over into the other lane to keep from crushing me and almost hit another car. I don’t know what the problem is, whether it is a lack of people caring or just that they are stupid.
